“The worst thing you can do, is sit in the lineup with all the other surfers and just wait…. wave after wave for the perfect moment to drop in. Truth is, there’s no such thing as a perfect time and before you know it the surfer next to you stole your wave because you hesitated”.
Surfing is a true art with many lessons that apply directly to life. Surfing taught Mallory to learn to accept failure, let go of the uncontrollable, accept risk for potential reward, finding purpose, be vulnerable, confident and in the moment.
Hesitation, fear of the unknown, skewed confidence, and a lack of purpose were at one time were Mallory’s biggest barriers to success. Today, she inspires people to overcome and face what’s stopping them from paddling out and catching the best waves of their lives.
Mallory is deeply routed in her community supporting various charity and non profit groups using fitness as a way to raise funds and awareness.
